The Magic School Bus Rides Again is an blithe children'south web series, based on the book series of the same proper noun by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. In the sequel to Scholastic's The Magic School Jitney, the flagship Dr. Valerie Frizzle (at present Professor Frizzle) gets her Ph.D and retires from didactics at Walkerville Unproblematic Schoolhouse. In 2014, the serial was beginning announced by Netflix and Scholastic Media, and was titled The Magic Schoolhouse Bus 360°.[10] The new iteration of the franchise features a modernized "Ms. Frizzle" (replacing Valerie with her younger sister Fiona) and a loftier-tech double-decker that stresses modernistic inventions such as robotics, wearables and photographic camera technology. The hope is to obsess children's imaginations and motivate their involvement in the sciences.[11] It was produced by 9 Story Media Group.[12] Producer Stuart Stone, who voiced Ralphie in the original series, stated that The Magic School Motorcoach 360° will characteristic some of the original vox actors in different roles. Lin-Manuel Miranda of Hamilton sings the theme vocal.[xv] Phoebe Terese, a character from the original series, is replaced by a new student named Jyoti, as it was revealed that Phoebe transferred back to her old schoolhouse.[16] [17] The episode endings feature question and reply sessions with Professor Frizzle, echoing the segments nearly viewers calling the producer which accompanied the original series on commercial-free channels.[18] Despite clarifying some creative license taken in the episode, these scenes are still set in a universe with magical vehicles.[19] Amongst other changes, the students however vesture the same clothes every twenty-four hour period but they do not resemble those from the original series.[20] Three 45–minute specials were released in 2020: the first special The Magic School Autobus Rides Again: Kids in Infinite was released on August 7,[21] the 2nd named The Magic School Double-decker Rides Once more: The Frizz Connection on October twenty[22] and a third titled The Magic School Bus Rides Once more: In the Zone on December 26.[23] The artstyle was changed for the specials equally the characters take no outlines and the lighting and shading are more detailed.
